Safety -- The Big Four

1. Treat every gun as loaded.

2. Never point the muzzle of any firearm toward anything you do not wish to destroy.

3. Keep your trigger finger outside the trigger well, on something solid, until sights are indexed on target and the decision to shoot has been made.

4. Know your target and what lies behind it.

The overwhelming majority of what keeps a person safe is the mindset and awareness of surroundings.  You can be prepared to fight any battle, but if you are unaware that a battle is headed toward you, then you are setting yourself up for failure and victimization.  Learn to be aware, and then get good training in the defensive use of firearms.  For a woman, even the highest level of training in 'hand to hand' combat will not  give you a level playing field with an assailant of greater physical strength.  A firearm is the great equalizer between criminal assailant and his supposed 'victim'.  Don't be a victim!  You can choose to refuse to be a victim.    Call me to set up a class at your home, church, workplace ...   Cost is $30/person.   (859) 707-5527
